TULLAMORE, situated in the heart of Ireland, has been the county town of Offaly, formerly known as King's County, since 1832. Tullamore is centrally located between Dublin in the east and Galway in the west, a little over an hours journey from both. It also has excellent access to other towns and regional centres. This great location is only one of the many reasons to live in Tullamore.

Tullamore is a community spirited town with excellent shops, schools, services and local enterprise. There are great cafes, bars, restaurants, hotels and salons with many family businesses still thriving in town centre. Tullamore is home to the famous Irish Whiskey, Tullamore DEW which currently exports over one million cases of whiskey to Europe, the US and further afield. Tullamore has numerous well regarded primary and secondary schools within walking distance of town centre. Tullamore Midlands Regional Hospital, Arden Road, Tullamore (10 mins walk from Redwood), is one of twenty seven acute hospitals in Ireland.  Primary health care services, retail parks and business parks all combine with a complete choice of sporting clubs and civic/cultural amenities to make up the fabric of great community lifestyles in Tullamore Town.

"Tullamore has everything one might want in terms of services and it is an excellent location for someone who needs to travel across the country for work.

It lacks no amenity or facility and ticks all the boxes as a great place to live."

In the year 2022 , Tullamore celebrates it’s 400th year anniversary of the royal grant of the civic status of the town to Sir John Moore. In the naming of ‘Redwood’ during the planning process, Capital Homes sought to invoke the town’s heritage from that era in creating an attractive new neighbourhood for Tullamore restoring the long-lost townland name of Redwood attached to Charleville Castle Estate.
